Limo Service in Thornhill

One neighbourhood, one name, two municipalities — Markham east of Yonge Street and Vaughan west of it, with the office cluster on Commerce Valley Drive in the middle.

Thornhill is the strangest piece of the York Region map and the most convenient to serve. It is a single neighbourhood with a single identity that sits across a municipal line: everything east of Yonge Street is Markham, everything west is Vaughan. Same street names carrying across the boundary, two sets of by-laws, two road authorities and two sets of construction notices. For a passenger it changes nothing at all. For anyone planning a route it means checking which side of Yonge an address is on before assuming anything, because the approaches are genuinely different. Geographically this is the closest part of the service area to both downtown Toronto and to Pearson, which shows up in the bookings: shorter airport runs than the rest of Markham, and a lot of downtown work where the 404 and the DVP are the whole trip and the hour of the day is the whole risk. Corporate demand here concentrates on Commerce Valley Drive, a tight cluster of office buildings just west of the 404 with a shared internal road network and never quite enough visitor parking — five minutes from Warden in the early morning, twenty-five at lunchtime. Residentially, the Markham side includes Royal Orchard, German Mills, Bayview Glen, Doncaster and the streets around Bayview and John, most of them established, leafy and entirely straightforward for a car. Bayview Golf and Country Club sits in the middle of it and generates its own event and hospitality work.

Frequently asked questions

Is Richmond Hill or Thornhill charged differently from Markham?

Trips are quoted on the actual itinerary rather than on a zone map, so what changes the number is the distance, the hour and the route — not which municipal boundary your house sits inside. In practice a Thornhill pickup heading to Pearson is a shorter job than one from east Markham, and a north Richmond Hill pickup is a longer one. You get the number before the car is booked.

I am in Stouffville. Is that too far out?

No. Whitchurch-Stouffville is part of the regular service area, and the main difference is arithmetic rather than willingness. It is further from both the 407 and the 404, so a Pearson door time from Stouffville is meaningfully earlier than the same flight from Unionville. Give the flight number when you book and the door time is worked back from the counter rather than guessed from a map.
